Donnie speaking at the State House June 24, 2022

The time is now.

Business as usual at the State House is hurting Rhode Islanders. Our "leaders" are asleep at the switch:

They work to restrict access to abortion (reproductive healthcare) to specific groups such as Medicaid recipients and RI state workers.
They give the thumbs-up to polluters in the face of climate catastrophe.
They fail to protect vulnerable Rhode Islanders from predatory lenders.

Our district deserves better: A change for representation that respects our values, our intelligence, and our diversity. As your voice in the Senate, I'll fight to:
~ Expand access and affordability to safe and legal abortion for all women. State employees and Medicaid recipients are not second-class citizens.
~ Keep polluting industries out of our beautiful state with no new sources of toxic chemicals in our air and less waste fouling our soil and water.
     ~
Bring a renewed sense of vigilance to the State House. Every bill will be read, every provision examined, and lobbyist will be treated with a healthy skepticism.

I have spent the better part of my adult life fighting for the rights of Rhode Islanders from outside the State House. May I ask you for the opportunity to take that fight to the Senate floor?  Thank you in advance for your vote on September 13!
THANK YOU FOR YOUR VOTE!  DEMOCRATIC PRIMARY IS SEPTEMBER 13!
